Collection Information: The collection is comprised of books, journals, online databases, subject notebooks, video audio cassettes, microforms and original documents. Examples of subjects in the collection are immigration, the Chicano Movement, mural art, biographies, folklore and health. Much of the collection is in the English language, supplemented by Spanish-language material. The collection also contains material on the history and culture of Mexico.

The collection is available to students, researchers and the interested public and most of the items may be borrowed. The Center provides reference assistance, subject bibliographies and referral information to community resources. The staff is available to speak on the subjects represented in the collection.

Restrictions: Most of the materials are reference only and therefore cannot be circulated. Two copiers are available to photocopy materials at 15c per page.
